Dominic showing Unko Crispen a birthday card he received from one of his friends during a birthday party he had earlier that week.
On the day we arrived in Singapore, Walter and Vanessa took us to one of the popular hawker centers for lunch. Had some roasted duck at this hawker stand. As you can see, you can have a nice meal for S$3.00.
From left to right - we had roasted duck and pork with rice, oyster omelette dish, and two different kinds of starches with barbecue pork. All were yummy good and freshly made. Then we washed it down with freshly squeezed sugar cane juice. The veggie dish and something else came a little later...we always bring our own napkins/tissues since hawker centers typically don't provide, however, they do provide hand washing station.
Walked around Holland Village area.
Go for a bike ride anyone?
Street decorations are still up in the streets of Little India from Diwali celebration the week before.

Good morning little Dominic!
Typical Malaysian breakfast, Nasi Lemak(coconut milk rice served with sambal chili, fried dry fishes, fried peanuts, egg, and cucumber slices. We ordered a side of Kaya toast and Kopi(strong coffee with evaporated milk). All yummy!
On the rooftop terrace of the apartment building where Walter and family lived. It's very nice with water feature and behind me is the cool jacuzzi. Literally, temperature cool, you really don't want a hot jacuzzi since it's hot there. You have a 365 view of the whole city. It's beautiful at night too! Here, you see little Dominic in action with soccer ball.
Barbecue area behind Unko Crispen...as they play soccer.
He's pretty good at handling a soccer ball, not even 3...
These next four videos shows Dominic in action.
Taking a break from running around in the heat. See the Singapore Flyer in the far distance, it's similar to the London Eye Ferris wheel. Also you see the Marina Bay Sands building.

Going to play Angry Bird with daddy on the 2 and a half hour flight to Bali!
Long day playing soccer and then traveling! Arrived safely at the Villa Tantangan after a bumpy ride. Here, laying on the sofa of the open air living room.
Open air dining room adjacent to the living room. In the glass enclosure is the air conditioned media room. We were greeting by the Villa manager with refreshing watermelon drinks.
The staff laid out the freshly made dinner that the villa chef, Alex, cooked for us. Fresh fish and chips for Dominic and the adults decided to have Indonesian cuisine starting with Gado Gado salad, Pepes Ikan(fish cooked in banana leaf?) and Indonesian Fried Rice. All yummy! Glad we ate in!
After the staff cleared dinner they served Crepes with fruit and ice cream! Just the right portions too!!
Slept with waves crashing against the beach and woke up with beautiful view from our room.
This was our bathroom!
Me with my morning hair and birthday boy by the pool.
This was our room from the pool grassy area. Basically each room is a separate bungalow on the villa grounds. Cool concept.
Pool and beach view in the distance.
So tempting to get in the pool. In the background is the main open living area with the media room, dining room and living room.
Very green villa. Solar powered and on each rooftop they grew plants and trees to keep each building cool under the hot sun to reduce the use of A/C.
Playing with his Spiderman doll!
Quench that thirst. It was very hot under the sun at 7-8am.
This is Walter/Vanessa and Dominic's bedroom and bathroom.

Dominic's dinosaur made of lego blocks!
We didn't want to leave the villa. The pool was the nicest we've ever swum in.
Dominic was like a fish! He just loved the pool! He's very brave in the water.
